John Edward Taylor Jr., 60, of Uniontown, Ohio died May 18, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born February 28, 1961 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of Mary Louise Careway Taylor and the late John Edward Taylor.

John was the owner and operator of Taylor Trucking and had worked in the construction trade. He was a 1979 graduate of Union Local High School where he was a four-year letterman in football. John liked sports and was a L.A. Rams fan, he enjoyed riding his motorcycles and shooting.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jamie Taylor and a nephew, Taylor Jaren McGaffick.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Taylor; a son, John E. Taylor III; two sisters, Cindi Henry and Jeryl (Fred) McGaffick; nieces and nephews, Cara (Jesse) Halldin, Janie (Derek) Richardson, Zachary McGaffick and Kelby McGaffick; two great nephews; good friends, Jeff and April Azallion and his faithful companion dog, Harley Sue.

Honoring John's wishes there will be no visitation or service.  A Memorial Motorcycle Ride will be planned later.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
