John A. Steadman, 54, of Jacobsburg, OH died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.  He was born April 22, 1967 in Bellaire, OH., a son of Charles Steadman and Edna M. Yarbrough.

John was former owner/operator of L & W Construction Company of Jacobsburg, and a Protest by faith.

He was preceded in death by his former companion, Dixie Hinerman.

John was a former member of the Sentinal's Motorcycle Club and loved the New Orleans Saints.

Surviving are his parents, Charlie (Melanie) Steadman of Jacobsburg and Edna M. Yarbrough of Bellaire; his wife, Lori Steadman of Jacobsburg, his children, Brittany (Cody Young) Hinerman of Powhatan Point, OH., Brittney Lewis of Shadyside, OH., Lavon (Josh) Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC., Brooke (Frankie) Bauer of Powhatan Point, John Steadman of Jacobsburg; siblings, Kim Dierkes of Powhatan Point, Heather Hively of Gallipolis, OH., Billie Jo Goudy of Powhatan Point, Brandie (Will) Youngs of Bellaire, Hope Stewart of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Dixie Young, Chloe Modra, Claira Bauer, Colton Young, Lilah Bauer, John Wittington, William Bauer and unborn baby boy Davis.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10 am until time of services at 3:30 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg with the family to speak.  Final arrangements are at the convenience of the family.
