John Anthony Sroka, 73, of Belmont, Ohio died January 20, 2019 in Barnesville Hospital.

He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on May 8, 1945, son of the late Frank Sroka and Adra Yaskus Sroka.

John was retired from AVI Food Service and was former co-owner and operator of a cleaning business. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and David Sroka and a sister, Alice Sherman.

Surviving are his wife, Jo Anne Perticarini Sroka; five children, John Paul Sroka, Stephen Sroka, Tommie McGlothlin, Joseph Sheba and Melissa Magelnicki; and six grandchildren.

Private Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
