John B. Noling, 69, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 27, 2017 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born May 22, 1947 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Beryl D. and Margaret Workman Noling.
John was a retired police chief for Richland Township. He was a member of the Ohio Police Chief's Association and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and he was a member of the Church of Christ in Belmont.
Surviving are his wife, Donna R. Johnson Noling; three children, John Bradley Noling II, Robert Ryan Noling and Sarah Elizabeth Noling; a sister-in-law, Karen J. Summers; a brother-in-law, Harvey D. (Teresa) Johnson; two aunts, Frances J. Meeker and Dorotha M. Fowkes; nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation. A memorial dinner is being planned for May 13th at 2 p.m. at the J.B. Martin Recreation Center.
Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
The Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct Full Military Honor Services.
