John Allen Myers, 61, of Bannock, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born January 18, 1964 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late William E. and Wilma M. McMahon Myers, Sr.

John was a former Correctional Officer for Belmont County Corrections and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger W. Myers.

Surviving are his children, Ashley (Matt) Williams of Bannock, Cory (Maelani) Myers of Coolville, Ohio and Taylor (Matt Jones) Myers of Flushing, Ohio; his fiancé, Sandy Hammond Marling of Bannock; siblings, William E. (Vickie) Myers, Jr. and Debbie (Jeff) Rankin both of Jacobsburg, Ohio; five grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Abel, Kiara and Giovanni.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 3-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services at 11 am on Thursday with Pastor Nathan McKeen officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire.
