John Dale Kuhn, 56, of Bannock, Ohio died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home.
He was born on February 16, 1961 in Norfolk, VA, a son of the late Martin Kuhn, Sr. and Betty Varner Kuhn.
John was a cook at Denny's Restaurant in St. Clairsville and a Protestant.
He was a loving, generous soul with a fantastic sense of humor who kept everyone laughing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Peggy Piper Kuhn; infant son, Jacob Kuhn; brothers, Ridgely and Nelson Hercules, Mark and Bob Kuhn.
Surviving are three children, Karissa (William Peters III) Kuhn of Yorkville, OH, Kira (Alex) Rohan of Neenah, WI, and Kaden Kuhn of Appleton, WI; brothers and sisters, Helen Kuhn-Herbert of Culledon, WV, Martin Kuhn, Jr. of Bannock, OH, Debbie Gossett of Barnesville, OH, Paul Kuhn of Warner Robins, GA, Carol White of Grove City, OH, Melvin Tobiczyk of Shadyside, OH, and John Tobiczyk of Bannock, OH; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Peters; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John's family.
