John Anthony Kubica, age 60 of Phillips Road, Fairpoint, Ohio died Thursday November 27, 2003 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born January 10, 1943 in Fairpoint, son of the late John J. and Carina Cervelli Kubica.

He was a bookkeeper for Absolute Concrete in Morristown, former Ohio State tax agent, and bookkeeper for numerous coal companies. He attended Harbor of Hope Assembly of God in St. Clairsville and was a U. S. Navy veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Dingey Kubica; two daughters, Serena Therrien of Bridgeport and Angela Reardon and her husband Steven of Akron; a son, John D. Kubica of Fairpoint; a sister, Deanna Verardi of Fairpoint; four grandchildren, Alexis, Zachary and Damian Therrien and Brandon Kyle Reardon.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Dean Myers and Neil McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
