Heslop, John F., 67, of Centerville, Ohio died at home Friday, April 9, 2010.
He was born April 15, 1942 in Bellaire, son of the late Howard D. Heslop and Elizabeth J. Jones Heslop Shunk.
John was a retired coal miner and construction worker. He was an Army veteran and a member of Concord Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Graham Heslop; 3 sons, John (Angie) Heslop of Bellaire, Zachary Hesolp at home and Kevin (Ruth) Barker of Centerville; 2 daughters, Cheryl (Tim) Joseph and Crystol (Scott) Seladoki both of Wheeling; 2 brothers, Howard (Regina) Heslop of Bellaire and Richard (Theresa) Heslop of Shadyside; 2 sisters, Linda (John) Sidon of St. Clairsville and Lisa Frazier of Jacobsburg; 7 grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, Christian, Logan, Ian, Preston and Mya.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Belmont County Council of American Legions conducting Full Military Honors followed by a service with Karen Byrne officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
