Obituary

John Michael "Pork" Garloch, 45, of Neffs, Ohio died March 8, 2015 as the result of a mining accident.

He was born November 18, 1969 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of Clarence "Junior" Garloch and the late Betty Shepherd Garloch.

Mike was an assistant longwall coordinator for The Marshall County Coal Company. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. Mike would always support his daughters, attending their sporting events and spending time with them. He was an avid golfer and loved sports.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Kenny Saffell.

Surviving in addition to his father, Clarence "Junior" Garloch; are his wife, Amy Beveridge Garloch; two daughters, Courtney Garloch and Kaley Jo Garloch; two sons, Kolten Rogers and Alex Rogers; a granddaughter, Charlotte Rogers; a brother, Thomas (Kim) Garloch; two sisters, Peggy (Bill) Bell and Kim Saffell; nieces and nephews; and a close family friend, Jim Varner.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Thursday from Noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday from Noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor James Lish officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire.
