Luyster, John C. "Jack", 62 of Uniontown, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012.
He was born on October 21, 1949 in Piedmont, a son of the late Clyde and Emma Luyster.
He was a retired employee of CSX Railroad with 40 years of service, A member of The Loyal Order of Moose in Lafferty, and Son's of the American Legion in Flushing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Luyster.
Surviving are his wife Kathleen Luyster, four children, Peggy Couch of Holloway, Dave (Freda) Luyster of Scio, Katherine (Ron) Stewart of Holloway and Kevin (Amber) Luyster of Holloway; John also is survived by eight siblings, and was a grandfather of nine grandkids, and one great grandchild.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
