Fulton, Joey, 22, of Flushing, died Friday, August 29, 2008 as the result of an accident, while doing what he loved. He was born January 22, 1986 in Wheeling, son of Kelly Fulton and Janet Brooks Fulton Skiba.
Joey was an employee of Hopedale Mining Company. He was a member of Warnock Community Church; and a member of Lafferty Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Fulton and maternal grandmother, Yvonne Brooks.
Surviving are his parents, Kelly (Kathy) Fulton of Warnock and Janet Brooks Skiba of St. Clairsville; his fiancee, Ricki Thatcher; a son, Tyler Fulton; paternal grandmother, Betty Fulton of Warnock; maternal grandfather, Dallas Brooks of St. Clairsville; a sister, Becky (Craig) Gainer of Flushing; a brother, Andy (Kristen Friend) Fulton of Bannock; two stepbrothers, Chris Neitzelt of Columbus and Steve Neitzelt of St. Clairsville; a stepsister, Melany Neitzelt of Belmont; two nieces, Haylea and Kyer; a nephew, Ryder; stepniece, Madison and stepnephew, Sam.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jack Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
