Obituary
Joseph David "Joe" Ludwig, 67, died February 16, 2016 in OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born Jan. 3, 1949 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late Joseph and Anna Janoski Ludwig.
He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. Joe was the owner and operator of Major Appliance. He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and formerly played the accordion in a polka band known as the Rhythmaires.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Mark James Ludwig; a great nephew, Gideon Metcalf; and his best dog, Daisy.
Surviving are his loving wife, Teresa Marie Guy Ludwig; a brother, Gary (Cheryl) Ludwig of Greenfield, Ohio; mother and father-in-law, Bernice and Robert Guy of East Liverpool, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law and beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of Services at 1 p.m., with Monsignor John Kolesar officiating.
