Jodi Marie Proger, 64, of Stewartsville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her home.  She was born March 19, 1961, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Judith A (Vejvoda) Noice.

Jodi was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and avid animal lover.  Jodi was a Methodist by faith and a graduate of Bellaire High School.  Jodi and Tony spent years serving their community on the Glencoe Volunteer Fire Department.  Helping people and animals was Jodi's passion.  Jodi enjoyed riding horses and rescuing animals.  Jodi has devoted the last 12 years of her life rescuing injured deer, inspired by her loving deer, Wheezer.  Over the years, Jodi has spent her time advocating for animals and wildlife.  Jodi provided her knowledge of caring for injured animals and offered assistance to others, which often included advocating and providing resources during their time of need.  Jodi was appreciative and thankful for all of her "Wheezer Warriors".

Surviving are her husband, Anthony "Tony" L. Proger of Stewartsville; a daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Bryan of Bellaire; a sister, Josy Neudecker of Mason, Ohio; three grandchildren, Victoria Sells, Gracelyn Sells, Brynlie Sells; four step grandchildren, Kaley Bryan, Cameron Bryan, Connor Bryan and Colby Bryan.

As per her request, no visitation or services are planned.  Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter or food bank in Jodi's name.
