Obituary
Joanne Theresa Watson Heil, 85, of Shadyside, Ohio died Monday, September 25, 2017 in Park Health Center.
She was born April 25, 1932 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Watson and Amneris "Annis" Filipponi Watson.
Joanne was a retired employee of Imperial Clevite Inc. and Electro-Voice and A.E. Pistons. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crafts, sewing, crochet, quilting, music and genealogy.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her grandson, Larry C. Vucelich and a half-sister, Bobbie Becker.
Surviving are her four children, Treni (Larry) Vucelich of Powhatan Point, Richard Heil of Tennessee, Todd Heil of Martins Ferry and Linda Heil of Pleasant Grove; a sister, Judy Keszler of Martins Ferry; a half-brother, Robert Watson of Martins Ferry; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Private service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
