Joan Carol Reed, 72, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died February 16, 2020 surrounded by her family in Rolling Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born February 5, 1948 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harry James Adams Jr. and Carolyn Marie Yoho Adams.

Joan was retired from the Gould-Clevite Corporation. She loved her family and was deeply devoted them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Reed.

Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca (John Van Scyoc) Reed; two brothers, James E. (Teresa) Adams and Jay (Larry Chancellor) Adams; two grandchildren, Franklin J. Reed and Faith Marie Van Scyoc; and two great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
