Joan Kay McGilton, 62, of Barnesville, Ohio, left us to be with the Lord, March 19, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born May 30, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Hashman and Linda Elaine Blon Hashman.

Joan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed singing and dancing and who loved her dog Pico. She was a member of the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Lee Hashman.

Joan is survived by her husband, Michael T. "Mick" McGilton; three children, Gabriel "Gabe" (Ashley) Hashman, Misty J. McGilton, and Michael A. McGilton; a sister, Debbie (Tom) Wilson; and three grandchildren, Kaison, Sophie, and Caleb.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
