Joan E. Evick, 91, of St. Clairsville passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at her home. She was born December 13, 1930 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late John and Mary Pubal Zuzak. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Evick, a sister, Bessie Sparks and brother, John Zuzak.

Joan was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School and the Ruth Brant School of Nursing, Martins Ferry, Ohio. She worked many years as a nurse and X-Ray technician at the St. Clairsville Clinic. Joan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville.

Joan is survived by her son, John A. (Kim) Evick, St. Clairsville, Ohio; three grandchildren: Jessica (Dr. Chuck) Bishop, Huntington, West Virginia, Zachary (Paige) Evick and Benjamin Evick of St. Clairsville, Ohio; four great-grandchildren: Clara and Emilia Bishop, Piper and Owen Evick.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
