Joan Kacere Behl died on the morning of April 1, 2021. She was born in Oco/Lafferty, Ohio on April 27, 1922.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Emil and Josepha Kacere of St. Clairsville, her sisters Lucia, Jacquline, Stephanie and Virginia; her brothers Joseph and John (KIA with DKM U-862, July 24, 1944).

Her husband, Herbert J. Behl died in 2007. They owned the Enchanted Isle Resort in Hollywood, Florida for over 30 years. They retired to St. Clairsville in 1982 and restored the house at 193 W. Main, where they lived until their deaths.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing is required. Visitation will be held at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville Tuesday April 6 from 4pm to 8pm. A Vigil Service will be held at 3:45 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday April 7 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville with Father Thomas Chillog and Father Bradley Greer the concelebrants, followed by internment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lafferty.
