Truchan, James Andrew "Jim", 46 of Bridgeport, Ohio died Monday, August 15, 2011 in Weirton, WV.

He was born November 26, 1964 in Wheeling, a son of Doris Sykora Truchan and the late Joseph Truchan.

Jim was an employee of RG Steel in Yorkville, a member of the United Steel Workers Union, a parent assistant for the Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts of America; his hobbies included hunting, fishing, raising giant pumpkins, and bottle collecting.

Surviving in addition to his mother of St. Clairsville, are a son, Jesse Truchan of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Jamie Truchan of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Joe (Gigi) Truchan of Warren, Ohio and Jeff Truchan of St. Clairsville; a niece, Vanessa Truchan of Warren; special companion, Joan Sheppard of St. Clairsville.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 1 to 3 & 5 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
