Andrew James “Jim” Garczyk, Jr., 85, of Maynard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 30, 1940 in Crescent, Ohio a son of the late Andrew James “Andy” Garczyk, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Cook Garczyk.

Jim retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, Follansbee, West Virginia Plant and he was a devoted farmer. He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Maynard PNA Lodge 455, Maynard Sportsman Club, St. Clairsville American Legion Post 159, former member of ME-MAA. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Most of all, he loved watching his grandchildren play Soccer. He always helped anyone with a hard job and anyone who knew him, saw him at his barn with his beloved cattle. He also proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard

Surviving are his wife, Linda J. Kanopsic Garczyk of Maynard; two daughters, Cindy L. Cervelli of St. Clairsville and Stacey A. Beck of Maynard; grandchildren, Ryan Cervelli, Matthew Cervelli, DJ (Tiffany) Beck and Nicole Beck; great grandchildren, Brycen Beck, Ethan Beck, Brookelynne Beck; brothers, Eddie (Loretta) Garczyk of Shadyside, Ohio and Gary (Cyndie) Garczyk of Maynard.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 3-7 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Full Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
