Jessie Mae Pollock, 107, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died January 24, 2021 at her home.
She was born February 4, 1913 in St. Clairsville, Ohio a daughter of the late William D. Egy and Minnie M. Hayes Egy.
During Jessie's life she had been an active member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where she served as a secretary for 17 years, Elder, Deacon, Women's Club, Bible School Teacher and Youth Fellowship Advisor. She also had been a school bus driver for over 10 years with St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools. She was a former member of the Hilltoppers.
In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her first husband, Cornelius Jobes; her second husband, Calvin M. Pollock; and three brothers, Isaac Egy, David Egy and Philip Egy.
Surviving are her two daughters, Connie Cornelia Pollock and Nell (Mike "Terry") Murrell, both of St. Clairsville; two sons, Calvin E. Pollock and William "Beezie" Pollock, both of St. Clairsville; four grandchildren, David (Sawako) Bush, Eric (Trisha) Bush, Theresa (Josh) Chambers and Matthew Murrell; eight great grandchildren, Mikayla Bush, Marcus Bush, Devin Chambers, Austin Chambers, Hunter Chambers, Taylor Jessie Mae Chambers, Atticus Murrell and Madelyn Murrell.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, the Belmont County Animal Shelter or to a charity of the donor's choice.
