Jerry Staskey, 71, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, died January 2, 2022, at his home.

He was born September 9, 1950, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Viola Kavanas Yaremcho and Mike Yaremcho.

Jerry was a retired Steelworker from the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville Plant. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Linda Kay Adkins Staskey; two daughters, Jeri Lynne (Bruce) Romanek of St. Clairsville and Dana Renee (Paul) Bendel of Delaware; a brother, Tony Yaremcho of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania; a sister, Michaelene Yaremcho of Yorkville; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, and Caleb.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia.
