Jeffrey Allen Hayes, 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died May 17, 2021 at his home.

He was born June 10, 1961 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of Janet Lee Dayton Hayes and the late David T. Hayes.

Jeff was an employee of Outback Steakhouse for over 35 years serving as assistant manager and bartender. He enjoyed sports and was a Chicago Cubs fan and OSU Buckeye fan.  Jeff ran in many local distance races and was invited to run in the Boston Marathon several years ago.

He was preceded in death by his father, David T. Hayes.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Janet and Edward W. Holstein; a brother, David T. Hayes Jr. of Martins Ferry; a stepbrother, Dennis A. Holstein of Lafferty; two stepsisters, Molly L. Holstein of New Athens and Tina Parsons of Moundsville, WV; two special cousins, Lisa Gatten of Bethesda and Pat Parsons of Moundsville, WV; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain.
