Jeanne Ann Kigerl, 73, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died September 29, 2023, in OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

She was born May 11, 1950, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Mary Augusta Schick McKelvey and Thomas Willard McKelvey.

Jeanne was a retired counselor from the former Wheeling Jesuit University and Belmont College. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville and was one of the founding board members of the current Tri-County Help Center. Jeanne was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William McKelvey.

Jeanne is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 53 years, Jack J. Kigerl; two daughters, Amy (Josh) Gasber and Kristina (Nathan) Fisher; and five grandchildren, Jack, Drew and Emma Gasber, Sophie and Luke Fisher.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday, October 9, 2023, for a memorial visitation from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:30 p.m. with Pastor Dave St. Aubin officiating.
