Trella Jean Galavich, 74 of Powhatan Point, Ohio died Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Dilles Bottom, Ohio.
She was born July 18, 1932 in Powhatan Point, a daughter of the late Everett Armann and Vida Mae Wheeler Armann.
She was a member of Amity Methodist Church in Powhatan, a life member of Powhatan VFW Post 5565 Ladies Auxiliary, Powhatan Senior Citizens, American Legion Post 228 Auxiliary, and life member of DAV Post 117 Auxiliary in Bellaire.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Galavich; sisters, Dema Brooks, Lois L. Loomis, and Margaret D. Brooks; brothers; Roy and John Armann; half brother, Oscar Wheeler.
Surviving are three sisters, Evelyn M. Brooks of Beallsville, Mary G. Sandlin of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Ruth J. Hale of Spring City, Tennessee; many nieces and nephews, including Jenny Brooks of Powhatan Point, Ruth Ann (Wayne) Kettler of McMechen, Todd (Dawn) Kettler of Moundsville, Kimberly (Tony) Wood of Moundsville, Kristy (Jim) Covey of Youngstown, Emily and Andrew Kettler.
Friends will be received at the Amity Methodist Church in Powhatan Point on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ric Hendrix officiating. Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Amity Methodist Church, 107 Main St., Powhatan Point, Ohio 43942.
