FRAZIER, Jean Alderman, 87, of Bannock, Ohio died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Park Health Center.
She was born in Sago, West Virginia on March 21, 1923, daughter of the late Clarence Alderman and Anna Amelia Zoeffel Alderman.
Jean was a retired nurses aide from the Habilitation Center in St. Clairsville. Out of high school she moved to Detroit, where she worked rivoting airplane wings as a Rosie Rivoter. She loved to hunt and fish, taking Billy with her to all the ponds. Jean enjoyed stock car races and auctions, always searching for that priceless antique. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. During her later years she enjoyed doing all that she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William L. "Billy" Frazier; two brothers, Guy and Darist Alderman; and four sisters, Dortha Reline, Josephine Rowell, Helen Ragland and Mabel Slevin.
Surviving are her daughter, Myra (Richard) Hughes of Bannock; three sons, Gary Frazier of Hendrysburg, Linley (Linda) Frazier of Flushing and Allen Frazier of Columbus; grandchildren, Kim and Paul Gossett, Lori and Larry Sliva, Rich and June Hughes and Matthew Frazier; great grandchildren, Melissa and Jay Gossett, Chantel and Caitlin Sliva; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
