Caldwell, Jean Elizabeth, 81 of Shadyside, Ohio died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire.
She was born at Captina Creek near Powhatan Point on January 14, 1930 a daughter of the late Earl G. and Estelle A. Fraley Bonar.
Jean was a retired employee of Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, a member of the First Christian Church of Shadyside and Shadyside Chapter #581, Order of Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Bonar.
She is survived by her husband, Amos Hobart Caldwell and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. Family and close friends will gather at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. with Eastern Star Services at 7:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
