Jean Burrows's Obituary
Jean Burrows, 75, of St. Clairsville, died August 15, 2015 in East Ohio Regional Hospital.
She was born on August 11, 1940 in England, daughter of the late Leslie and Doris Ritchie Scott.
Jean was married in England and both children were born there. She and her husband William moved to Canada in 1969 and then moved to the United States in 1973. She was a former manager of Bea's Restaurant in St. Clairsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Scott.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, William T. Burrows; two children, Graeme Burrows of St. Clairsville and Jillian (Richard) Lauttamus of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Emily, Ayden and Avery Rose Lauttamus; three sisters, Linda, Doris and Elizabeth; four brothers, Leslie, Malcolm, Ian and Anthony; brother-in-law, Eric Burrows; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Burrows and Louisa Baxter; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with Amedisys Hospice Chaplain, Ted Boggs officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the East Ohio Regional Hospital.
