Yardley, Janet Ellen, 75, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Monday, February 15, 2010 in Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.

She was born June 10, 1934 in Key, Ohio, daughter of the late John Maurice Harvey and Sara Hazel Ramsay Harvey.

She was a retired elementary school teacher from Martins Ferry City Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Yardley.

Surviving are two sons, John Yardley of Roswell, Georgia and William H. Yardley of Suwanee, Georgia; a sister, Helen Tarbet of Key, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Emilie Yardley.

Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Pleasant Grove, Ohio, with Wayne Clark officiating. Entombment will follow. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
