JANET SIKORA

Janet M. Sikora, 71, of Colerain, OH died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH.  She was born September 22, 1950 in Wheeling, WV., a daughter of the late John and Mary Kyanko Gancos.

Janet was an employee of the Martins Ferry Pitstop for 25 years and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  Janet enjoyed cooking, shopping and camping.  She really liked going to Wheeling Island Casino and supporting the Martins Ferry Purple Riders sporting events.  She loved her grandchildren and her favorite dog, Charlie.  Janet is said to have made the BEST cabbage rolls in this area.

Surviving are her loving husband, Stanley "Peez" Sikora of Colerain; her children, Susan (David Swartz) Sikora of Lancaster, OH., Jeff (Kelly Kilby) Sikora of Galloway, OH and Mike Sikora of Colerain; two granddaughters, Ashlan Sikora and McKinlee Sikora.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and again on Thursday from 12-1:30 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with a Vigil Service at 5:30 pm on Wednesday.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 2 pm at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Chillog as celebrant.  Final burial will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens at a later date.
