Janet Carol Bond McGarry, 85, of Stewartsville, Ohio died March 27, 2020 at her home.

She was born December 8, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Gordon Holmes and Hertha Kroenberger Holmes.

Janet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Lutheran by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Steven Bond.

Surviving are her husband, James E. "Ted" McGarry; three sons, Steven (Joy) Bond, Thomas (Laurie) Bond and Matthew (Susan) Bond; a sister, Lynn Rudd; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Private graveside services in Warnock Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
