Jane Alice Gossett Brown, 72, of Lore City, Ohio died May 29, 2020. She was born August 3, 1947 in Wheeling, WV.

Jane was a dedicated nurse for 42 years; she loved her patients and their families. She was a member of the Flushing Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Mary Marcella Jackson Gossett and a brother, William Edwin "Ed" Gossett.

Surviving are her husband, James Arthur Brown Jr; a brother, Earl (Debbie) Gossett; a sister-in-law, Fern Gossett; a daughter, Jodi (Timothy) McGuire; a son, James "Jimmy" (Carol) Brown III; and grandchildren, Ryan and Zane McGuire, Corey, Courtney, Luke, and Isaiah Brown; and special friends, Carla Thompson, Dee Blake, Rita Hanes.

A Celebration of Jane's Life will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at the Flushing Park Shelter.  The family asks that you bring your own chair for the service.  A private burial was held in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.  Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
