Jamie L. Sanati, 56, of Moundsville, West Virginia, passed away in Brightwood Center in Follansbee on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

She was born February 15, 1969, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Mary Jane Stewart Sanati and James E. "Corky" Sanati Jr.

Jamie was a 1987 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. She was a supportive youth counselor at the St. John's Home for Children in Wheeling, West Virginia. She had attended the Foursquare Church. Jamie loved her cat, Mishka, and she enjoyed baseball games, fishing, campfires, gospel music, movies, spending time with family and being barefoot... she is finally free of her earthly burdens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Shane Edward Sanati; grandparents, Lena and James E Sanati Sr., Martha and Thomas Stewart.

Jamie is survived by three sisters, Melissa (Joe) Reinbold, Kathy Davis and Mary Beth Lewis; a special lifelong friend, Marvin Burdette; nieces and nephews, Chris (Courtney) Reinbold, Doug Reinbold, Alissa (Zachary) Johnston, Austin (Hannah) Hollingshead, Mason Hollingshead, Travis Sanati, Trevor (Brandi) Sanati, Jimmy Smith, Kara (Kris) Lewis, Jacob (Brianna) Lewis, T. J. (Kelsey) Maroni, Mary Jane Maroni (Rece); 20 great nephews and great nieces; and 2 on the way.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 4 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, with Rev. Erica Harley officiating.

The family would like to thank Brightwood Center for their compassionate care of Jamie the past few weeks.
