James L. "Jimmy" Thrash Jr., 30, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, August 22, 2016 in Park Health Center. He was born February 4, 1986 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of James L. Thrash Sr. and the late Pamela Sue Wallace Thrash. Jimmy worked at Burger King for 8 years. He was a member of the St. Clairsville Church of Christ, where he had been active in Youth Group and Vacation Bible School. He was a former Boy Scout and a graduate with a hospitality major from the Belmont Harrison Joint Vocational School. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Sue Thrash and his grandfather, John Earnest Wallace, Sr. Surviving are his grandmother, Vera Christy Wallace Perry, with whom he resided; his father, James L. Thrash, Sr. of Barnesville; his twin sister, Jennifer (Andy) Peklinsky of Triadelphia, WV and his sister, Julia Thrash of Orlando, FL; a niece, Gracie Peklinsky; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Everett Hutson officiating. A private committal will be held at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
