James Arthur Sutton Sr., 69, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died June 25, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born June 11, 1951 in Roswell, New Mexico, son of the late William and Dorothy Stock Sutton.

Jim was a former employee of Ohio Valley Dairy in Martins Ferry and former employee of Y & O Coal Co. Nelms #2 Mine and a firefighter with the Mt. Pleasant Fire Dept. He was a Methodist by faith and Boy Scout Leader.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dallas and Danny Sutton.

Surviving are his loving wife of 29 years, Sherrie Vojacek Sutton; three children, Lisa Neal, Leslie Sutton, and James Sutton Jr.; two stepchildren, Sheila Barsch, and Dan Panepucci; two brothers, Roger Sutton, and William Sutton Jr.; seventeen grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Private family services were held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
