James Michael "Mike" "Pig" Piper, 65, of Bannock, Ohio went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 17, 2024.

"Mike" was born January 12, 1959, in Wheeling, son of the late James K. And Clara M. Piper. He is also preceded in death by his sister Peggy (Martin) Kuhn.

Surviving are his wife Christine (Sulek); brother Richard (Marge), sister Nancy (Frank) Mistak; 5 children, James, Beau, Sherri, Andrew and Kristin; 18 grand children and 4 great-grandchildren.

"Pig" was a master heavy equipment mechanic sought after by many for his expertise; "James" was a former Captain in the Civil Air Patrol, Virginia Air Wing; But most importantly "Mike" was a beloved family man and friend, loved by many.

Family and Friends will be received for a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, February 24, from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Bannock United Methodist Church with a reception to follow.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Bannock United Methodist Church.
