James Paul Parnell, 90 of St. Clairsville, OH, died March 22, 2021 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home of St. Clairsville.

He was born May 21, 1930, the son of the late Anthony Parnell and Margaret Bobot Parnell.

James was the owner of Belmont Typewriter.  He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and served in the United States Air Force.

Surviving are his loving wife of 68 years, Patricia Ann Bartholomew Parnell; daughter, Virginia Parnell of Pittsburgh, PA; son Paul (Helen) Parnell of St. Clairsville, OH; grandchildren, Jenna Koval, Lindsey Van Horn, Erin Kramer, Michael Rosen, and Amber Brunck; and 9 great grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facial coverings and social distancing will be required at a memorial service from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church on Saturday followed by interment at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville, OH.
