James E. Palmer, 84, passed away November 6th at Shadyside Care Center surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life Bev.

Jim was retired from international harvester, an army veteran, a husband, a father, and a pap.

He is survived by his children Jim (Amy) of Shadyside, Debbie Shaw of Shadyside, Dawnita Young of Columbus, grandchildren Tara (sugar) of Shadyside, Dustin Shaw of Shadyside, William Hall of Columbus, and his favorite nephew Tom (Tony) Scott of Bellaire. Jim was loved by all who knew him. He will forever be loved and missed by his family.

Per James request, there will be no visitation and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating.  Full Military Honors conducted by Belmont County Veteran Association.
