IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James
Lipniskis
November 30, 1946 – December 19, 2025
James S. "Jim" Lipniskis, 79, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 30, 1946, a son of the late Benjamin and Rose Stoyek Lipniskis.
Jim was the retired owner and operator of the Lipniskis Agency, a Nationwide Insurance Company in St. Clairsville, OH where he spent decades as an entrepreneur and business owner, working with quiet determination to provide opportunities for his family. He was a longtime member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Reserved by nature, Jim was thoughtful and steady, but those closest to him knew his love of storytelling and his dry, measured way of sharing experiences. He kept a small circle, choosing depth over breadth, and was deeply devoted to his immediate family.
Jim was most at ease outdoors, drawn to golf courses, beach trips, and any place that offered fresh air and good company. A lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he followed the team faithfully, but his greatest commitment was always to his family.
Jim defined success not by titles or possessions, but by ensuring that his wife was well cared for and that his sons were positioned with opportunities to build meaningful, successful lives. In this, he found his greatest pride.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roseann Bellia Lipniskis of St. Clairsville; two sons, Craig (Shelley) Lipniskis of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brent (Katherine) Lipniskis of Flanders, New Jersey; and five grandchildren, Ava, Mya, Quinn, Lia, and Lucas Lipniskis.
