James Michael Kopral, 81, of Tiltonsville, Ohio died July 27, 2021, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born September 10, 1939, a son of the late Michael Kopral and Anna Vanecko Kopral.

Jim was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel's Yorkville Plant. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Barton. He loved his children, grandchildren and his dog, Midnight. He also enjoyed his 1988 Corvette, sports, and the Cleveland Browns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Michael "Jay" Kopral II; and a sister, Barbara Strain.

Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Irene Kuntupis Kopral; a daughter, Leanne Kopral of Colorado; two grandsons, Zavier and Phoenix Straub; three sisters, Mary Jane Kopral of Barton, Judy (Brent) Stobbs of Columbus, and Jo Ann (Bill) Hughes of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Parastas Service at 7 p.m. A Panachida Service will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Barton on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Very Reverend Michael Kabel officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Barton.
