Obituary
Saffell, James Delbert "Jim", 77 of Armstrong-Centerville Rd., Jacobsburg, Ohio died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his home.
He was born December 2, 1934 in Armstrongs Mills, a son of the late Delbert "Perry" Saffell and Ruth Jackson Saffell.
He was a retired employee of Ormet in Hannibal, Ohio, a member of Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church, and a U.S. Army veteran.
Jim loved hunting and was an exceptional baseball player.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Joan Carol Saffell.
Surviving are his wife, Linda D. Baker Saffell; three daughters, Michelle (Rick) Pratt of Powhatan Point, Sheri (Rob) Fillon of Fairpoint, and Stephani (Will) Haught of Jacobsburg; two grandchildren, Kristin (Ryan) Snider of Shadyside, and Mike (Allison) Pratt of Powhatan Point; four great grandchildren, Wiley and Wrya Pratt, Collin and Dylan Snider.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with Lorna Knight officiating.
