Druzin, James Joseph, 88, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Farmington, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 at home.
He was born Sept. 19, 1919 at Barton, Ohio son of the late James and Julia Kovacs Druzin.
James was retired from Tri-State Asphalt. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II receiving the Purple Heart Medal and two Bronze Stars; he was a member of Barton United Methodist Church; a Life-Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8848 in Colerain; and the Laborers Union.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen B. Pasthing Druzin; and sisters, Mary Farinacci and Margaret Druzin.
Surviving are his son, James Druzin and his wife Pamela of St. Clairsville; a sister, Erma Kelly of California; two grandchildren, Camri Druzin and Collin James Druzin; and two great grandchildren, Cole and Alexa Druzin.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10:45 a.m., with Pastor Bohyun Yu officiating. The Belmont County Council of Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct full military honors at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
