James Marion Corbett, 89, of Belmont, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Emerald Pointe Care Center in Barnesville.

He was born June 28, 1932, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late James Corbett and LeVada Ault Corbett.

Marion was a farmer, and a retired employee from Ohio Department of Transportation at Morristown.  He was a member of the Hillcrest Bible Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church both in Bethesda. Marion was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post #312 in Belmont and the American Herford Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy B. Eastham Corbett.

Surviving are his son, Roy Corbett of Centerville; a daughter, Martha (James) McDonald of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., with Tim Kemp officiating.  Burial follows in Belmont Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Centerville Senior Center.
