James Thomas Coen, who lovingly answered to "Jim, Tom, PapPap, & Tommy," suddenly passed away February 25, 2022, of a cardiac arrest at the age of 71.

His family is heartbroken, and he will be dearly missed by the love of this life, Stephanie (Piegan), married for 53 years and their children Randi and Joshua. His grandchildren, large family and many friends will especially miss laughing at all of his teasing and sense of humor.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents John and Bernice (Jeffers) Coen from Glencoe, his brother Paul and recently his sister Edith Williams.

He graduated from St Clairsville in 1969, worked as a coal miner and truck driver. Together, he and Stephanie were proprietors of a Bed and Breakfast. He was a world traveler and avid hiker. His kindness and generosity extended beyond his family as he wanted to help anyone in need.

A celebration of his life will be held on April 16th at 1pm at Barkcamp State Park.
