Obituary
James Arthur Christy, Jr., 56 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.
He was born August 7, 1960 in Fort Meade, MD, a son of the late James Arthur Christy, Sr. and Nancy Bernice Hamilton Reed.
He was a former employee of the former Elby's Restaurant in St. Clairsville and Belco Works. He loved music and life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Eugene Reed.
Surviving are a brother, George Franklin (Nancy Ann) Reed of St. Clairsville; a sister Nanette Jean Podubynsky of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial gathering is being planned by the family. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
