James Richard Bulger Sr., 88, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died September 27, 2025 at his home. Jim was born June 28, 1937, in Glencoe, Ohio, a son of the late Kenneth Bulger and Mary Weigle Bulger Loos.

Jim was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired press operator from Phillips Stamping in Shadyside and from Gatto Food Distribution. He enjoyed watching sports and gardening and spending time at home with his loving family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Richard Bulger Jr., and a brother-in-law, Joseph Helms.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Fuller Bulger; two children, Diana Lynn Hallmark and Gregory Allen Bulger; a sister, Janice Helms; two grandchildren, Alex (Jen) Hallmark and Sara (Tony) Valente; and two great grandchildren, Aria and Ethan Valente.

There will be no public visitation or service. Private arrangements were held at the convenience of the family with Toothman Funeral Home.
