James Edward Bonnette, 68 of McFadden St., St. Clairsville died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

He was born August 19, 1935 in Moundsville, a son of the late George N. Bonnette and Josephine Workman Bonnette.

He was a retired employee of the Belmont County Fairboard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Bonnette.

Surviving are his wife, Josephine Swarnovich Bonnette; seven sons, Thomas and his wife Shirley of St. Clairsville, Ronald of Columbus, John "Rusty" of Clarington, Theodore "Ted" of Belmont, James "Tony" of Alliance, Robert "Mike" and his wife Shannon of Ashtabula, and David "Tim" of St. Clairsville; eight grandchildren, Chase, Anthony, Bryce, Misty, Amanda, Jennifer, Josie, and Rachel; great granddaughter, Sierra.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 p.m. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
