James Elmer Ault Jr., 78, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died February 13, 2022, at his home.

He was born January 2, 1944, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a son of the late James Elmer Ault Sr. and Ethel Luvina Monahan Ault.

Jim was a retired coal miner and truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ellen Stillion Ault; a son, James T. "Jamie" Ault Sr.; and two brothers, Gary and Tom Ault.

Surviving are his daughter, Lois L. Ault of Bethesda, three sisters, Mary Lou Thomas, Judith Hicks, and Donna Lee Hupp; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Holly Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
