Obituary

Jack C. Hupp, 68 of Glencoe, Ohio died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.

He was born at Bridgeport January 20, 1937 a son of the late Jack and Edna Alvey Hupp.

Jack was a retired Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army with 23 years of service having served during the Korean War and two tours in Vietnam. He was also a former employee of the Belmont Habilitation Center at St. Clairsville and was a member of American Legion Post #632 at Glencoe.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Steven Hupp.

Surviving are his wife Regina Day Hupp; his children John (Ann) Hupp of Heath, Ohio; Mark Hupp of Glencoe; Jackie (Fernando) Mercado of Florida; Melissa (Todd) Baker of St. Clairsville and Christopher Hupp of Glencoe; a sister Betty Heil of Canton, Ohio; brothers Dick Hupp of Leander, Texas; Larry Hupp of Tallahassee, Florida and Jimmy Hupp of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Joseph and Anthony Mercado; Jeremy Hupp; Megan and Ashley Baker and C. J. Hupp.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
