Ivone Favot, 100, of Dover, Ohio, formerly of Bannock, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan, died Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.
He was born July 23, 1906 in Pordenone, Italy, son of the late Carlo and Mary DePaoli Favot.
Ivone was a retired mechanic from Buick Motors in Detroit, Michigan. He was a member of Bannock United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena May Piper Favot; two sisters, Dena Favot and Adelia Favot; three brothers, Dario, Charles and Albert Favot; and a grandson, Jeffrey Gustkey.
Surviving are his daughter, Sandra Gustkey of Dover, Ohio; two grandsons, Edward and Jamie Gustkey both of Dover, Ohio and a great granddaughter, Crista of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
